Learning new stuff throughout your life is awesome. It keeps your brain healthy, flexible, and overall younger. People even take up languages (which are supposed to be harder as you grow older) after they retire because it was something they didn't have the time to do earlier; I know a few people who have done this.

Also, you'll never be younger than you are right now. Go for it!
