Well, googling '[your fandom] big bang' is usually a good place to start (I mean this in an entirely un-mocking way, by the way, since that's how I find mine.)

Nearly all the Big Bangs are still on Livejournal, but if you have a fair-sized fandom, they're not that hard to find. :)

I'm doing two big bangs this year (writing in both, no one wants my art!). I find it really interesting. This is my fourth year (? I think) participating in one of the big bang communities.
