Not quite the same, but I get frustrated watching Numb3rs because both Megan and Colby's actors' voices drive me up the wall. I like them as people and characters, their acting doesn't suck, just their voices make me NUTS. (fanfic time!)

Usually I don't stick with something where I hate a character. Characters are more important than plot, than pretty much anything really, for me. So I can't stick with someone when I hate a character.

I did stick with Stargate SG1 even though I disliked the serialized/plot arcs of the later seasons. I prefer the earlier "We go through the Gate, we get into trouble, we get out of trouble, we go home!" with occasional throughlines and references that steady watchers can catch.

That is why I can't watch Elementary Jonny Miller's voice just...does not fit what I expected.
