Some of the most sexist men are gay men. I already knew that.

Look at him, appropriating femininity itself, the bastard!

So did I, man. I just thought I'd mention it because entertainment tends to favor straight men more than gay men, especially if a gay man in question happens to be a drag queen. Hell, look at how much the media gushed over Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal for "Brokeback Mountain" while gay men have been playing straight men for years with no fanfare.

Just like there are sexist gay men, not all drag queens are sexist. *slow clap*

...I think most of the praise had to do with the plot of Brokeback Mountain and the fact that it had major Hollywood backing.

I mean Rock Hudson being a passable straight guy isn't exactly subversive on a cultural level.

And the plot of Brokeback? Still lame. Gee, forbidden homosexual love that ends tragically because of society's oppression, I've never seen THAT a million times before!

Aha, but you didn't see it with sexy dead Heath Ledger. Eh? ehhh?

Talk about dead ol' Heath all you want, the Oscar should've gone to the blood-stained shirt.
