[Picture is a promotional picture of the Japanese TV show "Galileo" and a promotional picture of the Japanese TV show "Strawberry Night". They are both detective/police dramas.]

Usually I never get the concept of crossovers. I think it's weird and only breaks the cohesion/feel/whatever of each work of fiction that participates. Yet, I will do almost anything to get a special crossover episode from these two. Especially after the second season of Galileo evolved into a series with more detective work to balance the physics mumbo jumbo. I want the cast from Strawberry Night to barge into Galileo's laboratory and ask for help to solve a complicated (preferably gory) case together. But most of all, I want to see how hardy detectives like the cast from Strawberry Night interact with Galileo, as opposed to the rookie female detectives usually assigned to Galileo.

The tiny amount of crossover fics I've found (in Japanese) usually deals with fluffy nonsense about the two series' main pairing and nothing else: I ship both pairings too, but surely a crossover between these two amazing series can have much more awesomeness than that?
