In TOS, Spock had at least one romance that wasn't the result of getting in touch with his ancient Vulcan side....the one with the spores and Charles Bronson's British wife. They had a history, and even though it ended somewhat sadly, it still happened, which means despite LOGIC RULES, he can still have feelings and fall in love.

He loved his mother after all.
