But complaining isn't about necessarily changing people. It is about people ranting. It is about getting things off one's chest. It is about people in groups that are oppressed by society having an outlet and a place where you can just express your feelings and thoughts.

I don't think the SJ blogs on Tumblr are for the most part designed with changing people in mind. They are designed to be safe places to rant. And that is okay.
