Nope, not just you... Although I have no knowledge of Steve/Tony, I've noticed people jump ship to K/S just because other shippers claimed K/S the only real ship, even going so far as to claim fanon is canon to sway other shippers over to K/S. K/S is the original slash pairing and therefore it is sacrosanct, etc.

As for shipping, for the most part it doesn't even matter if it fits really. I just wish shippers wouldn't spend so much energy and time bashing pairings they don't prefer or ^faking a ship (with the same kind of energy) to further their own OTP.
