If you weren't talking about an LJ kink meme comm instead of a Dreamwidth one, I would think we were talking about the same comm.

But yeah, it kinda sucks when you want to write about something else, but you only see variations of the same theme. I suppose I could suggest a prompt, but that kinda feels like cheating to me, I'd prefer if someone else wrote the prompt.

On the off chance that anon has their My Guests feature turned on, and the kink meme they browse is a journal (rather than a community), there's a possibility that the mod person who runs it would see that they visit the kink meme?

Good point, I have My Guests turned off on LJ myself. I did it a long time ago and forgot about the feature ever since, lol.

Maybe OP doesn't want to turn it off, or don't know they can. But I agree with you on the 'really reaching paranoia' bit. :p

There's a kinkmeme for a fandom that I'm interested in, but the prompts sound like they're from just one person (who always asks for the same thing), I am not interested in filling or reading these, but since I don't want them to know I'm lurking, I set up a subscription ... on a sockpuppet. Cowardly anon is a coward.
