I think we have to know more? If her misfortune is that she cheated on her boyfriend "just once" and he dumped her, then yeah, karma's a bitch. If she was mean two years ago and now her husband's left her, I think it's still pretty horrible to gloat.

I've been in situations myself where I realized friends I had were seriously screwed up, and I'm better off without them. But finding out they'd fallen on hard times would only make me wish I could still help without getting mixed up in their shit again.
