Haha, sometimes I fill those prompts out of rebellion, and make sure to include none of the bonus things. XD It's like:

*likes prompt*
DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO WRITE, YOU DICK

That seems... kind of assholish. It's one thing if you can't work in a bonus or just aren't interested in or inspired by it, but to deliberately refuse to incorporate bonuses out of some sort of knee-jerk perverseness just because the prompter dared to suggest some things that they would like in the story that they are requesting? That seems almost like trolling.

You could call it trolling, I suppose. Personally, I think it's a deliberate refusal to include idiotic bonuses, because they are idiotic. I've never seen a bonus that does anything but scratch the prompter's OOC goodness itch.

And the problem with that is...? It's a kink meme, ffs; its entire purpose is to be indulgent. Write or don't write those bonuses, but I think it's idiotic to judge.
