I don't think all of them are creepy...but for some of them at least, I think people can get really overly invested in the members and their personal lives. Idk, that sort of thing doesn't usually interest me, but for some it might be a really important part of fandom, so maybe they don't realize that they're talking as though they are familiar with the people the secret is about..?
