Better that than the people who decide to fill a prompt and put in pairings/kinks the requester didn't ask for (and maybe doesn't even like). I've seen that happen too often. Or the plot goes astray and the author will say something about that in the notes but doesn't seem to care that it's then no longer what was even requested.

Sorry, I obv. have issues with this :P
