I'm not even sure what she could possibly be talking about if she just misspoke. Both rape kits and Plan B have to be administered within days of sex or assault to be any good, but then she mentions five months? If she had just hopped up and down going "whaarrlgarbbl" she'd have made as much sense.

This is pretty much my reaction. "5 months? But rape kits are only effective within like a day of the rape o_O" She just threw a bunch of Republican buzzwords together and came up with gibberish - but unfortunately stirring gibberish.

The comment about the banning abortions at 20 weeks part of the new law. They think there is a huge number of women who wait 20 weeks into gestation and then decide an abortion would be a great idea. What 'pro-life' people don't get is it's not about the 20 weeks thing, it's about the forced closing of most of the clinics in the sate with the new surgical whatever regulations. A lot of women are going to lose the only places they can afford to go to for heath care.
