I cried when Dobby died just cause the narrative was so sad. Otherwise, I was never a fan of him.

I loved Hagrid though....though I do agree with a TON of the reasoning that's going on in this thread for him re:teacher and all.

I fucking LOVE Snape and am ambivalent to Dumbledore. And my reasons, for both, are cause they're assholes. Just that Snape is honest about it where as Dumbledore comes off as "I'm not an asshole, but..." type thing. But I do love it when fandom runs with it and makes him this great character you can't decide if you HATE or like.
