As far as I'm concerned it's totes canon. Even if I wasn't a yaoi fangirl that's not a hint so much as a giant flag with the words 'they had a relationship' printed on it.

For me, it's canon. Maybe they meant is another but FUCK IT. I'm going assume they were more than friends. Hence why Blackheart is so bitter about it.

If the phrasing wasn't meant to allude to a romantic/sexual relationship, it had to be a conscious dirty trick for the readers.

Yup. I'm hoping she wouldn't do that...

One of the things I like about a webcomic like this is... in most more popular media, I would never in a million years imagine that a ship like this would become canon. They just wouldn't do it. But in Nimona, I wasn't just hoping it would become canon - I honestly thought that it might. And it looks like I was probably right! That's exciting.

Oh, right. I keep forgetting the :C part... this is mostly not an update that should thrill me. (Though I am looking forward to seeing what Goldenloin decides to do...)

I think he might defect or at least disobey his orders, but it can't be that easy, can it? They might not let him live and Ballister will not forgive him so easily (unless the whole thing is a misunderstanding from Goldenloin's point of view and that gets cleared up and Goldenloin apologizes, but even then who knows)
