I'm getting the impression that the riots have less to do with the trials outcome and more to do with the fact that some people wanted an excuse to act like violent thugs and vandalize things.

Most riots are like that 90% of people there just want to start shit

I can pretty much guarantee that if Zimmerman was found guilty, they're would have been "celebration" riots.

Maybe it's the temperatures, but there's a subset of California that loves getting up to this shit.

Makes me glad I don't live in California.
