I loved the book, but I read it as a teenager. I'm sure it's full of groan worthy stuff.

But the worst book you've ever read? Seriously? You must have been very lucky in your school literature classes.

Maybe it's the worst book they ever read - as in completed? I never count books I started, couldn't get through so I dump them without finishing. All my worst books would therefore by school things I was forced to read through :/ Dunno why someone would continue reading something they're not enjoying outside of work/school/literary clubs???

I've forced myself to finish books I hated in the past simply because, by the time I've admitted it's not going to get any better, I've already invested too much time into it. Doesn't mean I read the rest thoroughly...

And then there are those that I hate enough to say "fuck it" to the time I wasted reading them and threw the book out the window to never be looked at again, much less finished. I'm looking at you Iron Dragon's Daughter.
