Oooh, so that's how you unlock his business suit. It's a nice suit, but I'm not sure it's worth that much trouble. ~~Mainly because the others show off his ass so nicely, whut~~ (They should give you the upgrades even in the prologue! I call bullshit.)

Hahaha yeah, I gave it like 15-20 tries last night and gave up. At a later point I'll start with R-01 and do very hard & Revengeance because clearly I'm NUTS. And yes, yes they do. As much as I love the Desperado body, the blue one is really nice to look at. And it's not just Raiden's, the WHOLE SERIES loves accentuated asses. Sam? Old Snake? Everyone else ever? I actually think there's a tumblr dedicated to Metal Gear butts...

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO PLAY ON REVENGEANCE?! WHY?! Is Revengeance unlocked after beating the game once or do you have to beat the other difficulties first? I never looked. Now I just want to try to prologue and see how pathetically I fail.

*ahem* Just to prove I've spent WAY TOO FUCKING LONG ON MGRR AND RELATED RESEARCH: You can unlock Very Hard by beating Hard, and Revengeance by beating Very Hard. OR. You can be like me and input the Konami Code on the title screen and unlock all the difficulties there (and have Raiden say the game title). So if you're feeling masochistic THERE YOU GO. (I actually think I stand a chance on Very Hard but Revengeance... uhhhh we'll see. >.>;)

I actually tried the prologue on Revengeance because a friend asked how hard it was. I died in three hits. XD

Three hits... Fucking Christ. I would never even consider playing that difficulty. Not seriously, anyway. I'm just not that good.

Honestly? I was really awful on normal as you can imagine with how long I was stuck on Sam and Armstrong. LOL But the more you play, and the more upgrades you get, the better you end up doing. And I think going through the VR missions so much helped me, too.

I really have no idea how anyone S-ranks the prologue, at least, on Revengeance. You'd have to be a god/dess at parrying, holy Christ. XD

And yea, I'm sure it gets easier with lots of practice, because these kind of games always do. They kinda require it and eventually shit you couldn't do at all becomes a piece of cake! But I still don't have enough confidence in my abilities to think I could take Revengeance. Do it, and tell me about how awesome you were. I'll be proud and insanely jealous.

Hehe. Learning to parry makes the game so much damn easier. Once I finally (mostly) got that down it was a whole new ballgame. And I'm sure you must've gotten pretty good at it if you manged hard. Probably wouldn't have got through it otherwise.
