the scientists were the best part of this movie! usually the 'comic relief' type characters annoy the shit outta me but I thought they were really well done in this film

Can anyone give me Star Trek TOS (NOT reboot) Kirk/Spock recs?

I watched Star Trek XI this spring, burned fast and bright through that fandom for a while, got bored of it after Into Darkness, tried out The Orginal Series, and FELL IN LOVE OMG. Now I get why Kirk/Spock is such a huge deal!! Soooooo....recs? I really think I vastly prefer the TOS dynamics to the reboot ones so far, so feel free to rec old fics written pre-reboot, or by non-reboot fans.

I remember those happening often in Slade/Robin fic, but those tend to be darkfic and it's been years so I don't remember titles/authors, sorry!

Hmm. How about Defiance fic? I'd love Irisa-centric fic or cute father-daughter stuff with her and Nolan or focusing on Irathient culture or things along those lines.

The last time I tried to search for fic with Irisa and Nolan both in it, I got shippy stuff, which is just... no. No. Nope, never, nein, nyet, iie, nu, NO. If you do ship it, I'm sorry, but that is most definitely NOT what I'm after.

Any good Person of Interest fics? Preferably ones that don't involve turning Finch or Reese into fluffy bunnies that weep and cry and moon over each other?
