Not your fandom!secrets

How many of you read every secret that's posted? Or do you skim it and think ' not my fandom, not worth my time'?

I read every one. But I don't understand many. :(

I skim, though even if it's not my fandom it's sometimes interesting. I try to avoid spoilers for show I might still want to see, though.

Yeah, same for me.

I skim. That's the only way I can think "Man, who cares?" at some of them.

I skim. If it's not my fandom ooorrr something I don't immediatly recognise I keep scrolling

Later in the day I will skim past the comments and read anything that seems to have caused loads of comments

I skim first to see if there's any fandoms I'm interested in (and possibly respond if there is). After that I go back and read everything (and respond some more if there's anything else that catches my attention).

When the fandom is mentioned alongside the secret, I am less likely to read the less familiar I am with the fandom. Which is kind of awful, I know.

When I'm REALLY bored at work (like oh right now) I read them all.

I read them all, except really long/confusing secrets in fandoms I know nothing about. F!S is how I learn about fandoms and find new things to get into, so I don't usually skim.

I generally read them all unless they are wall of text secrets for a fandoms I know nothing about. Or spoiler secrets for a show I am watching or plan to watch.

I skim unless they look interesting

+1

I'll read the ones for fandoms I recognize and for really well done secrets.

Pretty much this.

(Also, if I find I have nothing to say on any of them I'll go back to the ones I skipped to see if any are interesting.)

I skim.

depends on whether I have anything else to do

Anything else to do: skim

Nothing else to do: read them all

I read all the secrets, but i usually skim the comments of the ones that i don't 'get' (not my fandom, something really obscure, tv show i don't watch, etc.)

If the discussion is pretty big on a secret that isn't really something i'm interested in, i'll read anyway just to see what's being said and maybe learn a little about the fandom.

If I don't recognise the fandom or if the topic is uninteresting to me then I tend to skim secrets.

I usually read them all unless there's a secret I find actively uninteresting, in terms of both the sentiment expressed in the secret as well as the fandom. Especially if it's a wall of tiny text about something I've never heard of. I'm also more likely to skim music-fandom secrets than ones from fandoms with a narrative (movie/TV/book/game/etc).

I read most of them, since I can often find something to comment about even in fandoms I don't recognize. I skim secrets that are nothing but a mass of cramped text, though, unless they're my fandoms, because life is too short.

I skim. These days I only actually read two or three secrets, maybe four or five on a good day.

I read all the secrets; I only read the comments thread for a secret if it's a fandom I (a) recognize and (b) have at least some interest in.

I read them all on days when I'm not busy. Today I had orientation at my new job so I skipped a lot of them.

I skim to see if there's anything really interesting/from one of my main fandoms, and then I go back and read them all just to see if I missed something interesting that didn't look it at first glance.

I usually skip the huge TL;DR ones entirely unless they're - again, from one of my main fandoms - or there's a bunch of activity in the comments section.
