Your friend is lucky to have you. I'm glad for both of your sakes.

I was getting really concerned :( But I didn't know his partner's surname so couldn't really do anything myself except make jokes about keying his car.

So I'm glad they've finally had a real talk about their futures and had a full on breakup without the dude coming back and screaming at my friend's door about love.
