I'm just so GLAD. The dude was so horrible emotionally and physically, but my friend hates it when I fuss and aargh, I hope dude stays away this time. It had really escalated recently, but I think the guy realised that other friend's and coworkers of my friend were cluing in, inviting friend out to things etc. So hopefully he'll back off :/

Hopefully. I'm in a similar but not as drastic situation with a friend of mine. You story gives me hope that my friend will get out too.

Best of luck with your friend :( My friend kept justifying it until the sudden increase in physical violence recently + all the very crazy texts suddenly happening. (prior to that I think physical had only been a couple of times before)

Hopefully your friend can get out of it before then :(
