Yes, I feel you. But at least people sometimes acknowledge stuff from Russia (like Nightwatch, etc). My country gets overlooked so often even in the fields the professionals acknowledge us being one of the most interesting and influential.

And don't get me started on history. Discussing WWII is always pain in the ass.
