i don't understand this radio show. :( I listened to the first 15 minutes of the first episode and it was just a guy talking like a news station?? But there are a lot of characters (and romances)?

Cecil reports on the town and people pop up again and again in the news. There are recurring stories that get revisited and so there's a few plots to follow. Like the city under lane five in the bowling alley waging war on the surface dwellers or Old woman Josie and her angel friends or Dana the intern being trapped the the dog park.

Plus there's been at least 3 other people's voices on the show, like when Cecil plays a phone message or a recording. As well Cecil will break story sometimes and talk about what he's reading or who he's in love with.

So at first it's just "news" and then plot happens in that formate

I'm going to start listening to this. I heard it was kind of creepy and unsettling and I hope that's true. :3

I consider myself aromantic and generally have little interest in romantic plotlines or ships. (I don't resent them, I just don't really empathize with romantic feelings.)

This episode made me sob like a baby and now I just want them to be happy. (And now I really wish I could care about someone in this way. I feel like I'm missing out now.)

Since the secret mentions 'this episode,' it might be worth pointing out that the iTunes display shows that the episode is #25 -- 'One Year Later.'

My tumblr feed had blown up with this show. I've never been one for radio shows, but maybe I'll give this a try? (I like that it is suppose to be creepy. Creepy is good.)

I... you know what's weird, is that I felt very much like you (and still do to some degree), except a good friend of mine mentioned WtNV, so I checked it out. I quite liked it, and said so to her, and as we got to discussing the show, she basically did a "I'm the Cecil to your Carlos", and... yeah, I can't ever unsee the parallels.

Which is not a bad thing! It helped me understand her and how she feels about me.
