They have a bacon shake at Sonic...well peanutbutter an bacon. I have only tried the coconut one and the chocolate covered strawberry one and I tried the Chicago style hot dog. My husband anted a pretzel style dog and they were sold out.

I tried a wee one the other day out of morbid curiosity. It was actually pretty tasty. The sweetness of the vanilla ice cream base is offset by the nuttiness and salty-savory flavors. It tastes a little like eating breakfast (of bacon and pancakes).

The first one was watashi ga motete dousunda which I could only find the first chapter translated, and stumbled upon Watashi ga Itemo Inakutemo (which was extremely unsatisfying ugh) and then Cousin by the same mangaka.

Got out of work at 15:00 having completed an important training assessment, and hit a bar with some work colleagues for a little nachtspiel.

Turns out a guy I work with, and a guy I'm going to work with (and probably live in the same building as) are massive Halo fanboys, and weeaboos, so we spent the next seven hours and three bars talking about that, until we realised we were way too fucked to go clubbing, and agreed to hit up a Japanese festival next weekend and then head back for some Halo.

Made a cursory appearance just to be seen as the party we were aiming for, and headed home, satisfied with a night well spent.

I don't plan on playing it until it gets cooler. It's too hot to use my computer for much right now. But at least I have it.

Technically I only paid $7.50 because a friend of mine (who's in the UK) bought a key off one of those weird keyseller sites for about £15 and it seemed legit to him so he bought one for me and told me to just get something off his wishlist. Well, Dark Souls was 75% off at the time...

I amuck for the first time in for ducking ever and have totally forgotten how to deal with it. So I'm reading Three Musketeers for the first time ever and wishing I still had all the tapes of Magic School Bus I used to watch when I was sick when I was itty bitty.
