Medieval TV show/Movie recs?

I've been craving some good medieval media, but I have no idea where to start. Anyone have any recs for tv shows or movies set in some sort of medieval setting? I don't mind if it's fantasy or straight historical or any variation thereof. The only preference I have is that there are some well-developed characters.

It's documentary, not fiction, but Youtube has Terry Jones' Medieval Lives. It's really entertaining.

The White Queen is actually quite good, lovely costumes and all.
Tudors is more Rennaisance than Medieval, though, but still quite good.

Well I recommend Main Marian and Her Merry Men from the BBC.

Robin of Sherwood (aka Robin Hood), '80's British series (by Lionsgate, I think; it's been too many years). Excellent story, though.

Try The Pillars of the Earth and the 1997 series of Ivanhoe, maybe.
Kingdom of Heaven is a decent movie. Not sure if it has a good dub, but 12 Paces Without a Head is a movie about the German pirate, Klaus Störtebeker - also set in medieval times.
