There are more than two scenes. He still doesn't actually get an emotional arc or plot arc or any development of his own, and his relationships with the other crew members are criminally neglected, and he's mostly absent for much of the action of the main plot, and often he's written as a walking catchphrase and convenient comedy relief, and he isn't there in the crucial scenes he should have been in and which would have made sense for him to have been in, but...

...shitdamn, that doesn't sound too good, does it. I guess he has more science to do than in the last movie, at least, and possibly the most costume changes out of anybody in the cast.

I hope to god with a new director (one who actually LIKES Star Trek) we get more Bones instead of the Kirk and Spock (sometimes Uhura) show. :

I'm currently asking for the source (my brother saw it somewhere), so at the moment take it with a grain of salt, but JJ AND Quinto are coming back for the third film.

So...no. We won't be getting much Bones. Which SUCKS cause the writers said they'd wanted to do more on the Kirk/BONES friendship, not Kirk/SPOCK.
