What fandom are you in that an OT3 is actually popular, and not getting constantly torn to shreds by the OTP shippers who hate your adulterating their pure and enlightened A/B with dirty, dirty C? (Or the minority group who want their messed-up B/C and can't stand that goody-two-shoes A getting in there and wreaking the fun?)

At any rate, it's really hard to talk about a triad relationship without talking about the three 'leg' relationships, if only because if any one of them has a problem, the whole triad has a problem. So I recognize that it's a pain in the butt for people who hate triads, but I don't see a good solution there, especially if the fic really does have scenes that are about each leg of the triad separately.

Most of my fandoms are small enough that all the pairs are rare-ish; finding fic for any given pair can be hard, especially if I'm not looking for PWP. I tend to ship triads and quads rather than pairs, which makes things just that much harder.

One of the big ships in Leverage is like that, but idk if that's the fandom.

Not the OP, but Haven has a fairly popular OT3. (Although Nathan/Audrey and Nathan/Duke are also popular.) Well, and Haven isn't exactly a huge fandom to begin with.
