Dressing skimpily is not KNOWN to cause rape in the way that taking drugs is KNOWN to cause addiction. In the one case, you are talking about a person who is ACTED UPON, by an outside force, which has no actual correlation to the action of the victim. In the other case, you are talking about a person who ACTS, by their own free will, in a way that DOES have a direct correlation to the outcome of the matter. Strawman ahoy, dear.

Clothing does NOT cause rape, rapists do.

Drugs DO cause addiction.

It's still fucking offensive as hell, even if they are arguing against it because those things *aren't* fucking comparable.
