Apparently, if you make a bad decision, the circumstances don't matter and you deserve to suffer the consequences alone and without mercy forever.

Apparently, the double standard really stands out though. It is interesting what people think is okay to judge and not, and so many people whom say: You can't judge anyone, because it is not their choice! Well.... except if you do drugs or smoke, those are completely your own choices and you should be punished to eternity, ... except if it is pot, pot should really be legal and no one should be judged for doing that...

I really do not want to cause more wank that this has already done, so I will not use any examples, but yeah....

You're reading comprehension keeps failing you, because you keep actin like everyone is saying the same thing.

In fact, a lot of people are saying that addicts should get all the help they need - while still saying that the original choice to do drugs was their responsibility.

Just because you think someone is responsible for something doesn't mean that you think they are undeserving of help.

It also doesn't mean that you are particularly sympathetic about their death - doesn't mean you think they deserve it, you might not care all that much either way, instead.
