7. You're entitled to your opinion but you're seriously missing out if you don't even give His Dark Materials a try. I felt EXACTLY the same about it, but then when I finally got over myself and read the trilogy, I really enjoyed it for what it was, and didn't spend the whole time comparing it to Harry Potter. You lose a lot of points for putting HDM in the same category as Eragon, though. They're not the same on ANY level.

AHAHA YES. Again with the squeaky shoes. (I actually once dug up the data files when I played Ragnarok, and changed around the bard's Frost Joker quotes so that half the lines he spouted off for that move were Kung Pow quotes!) You win ♥

This I understand from a fan's point of view, but not from the creator of a series. As long as people pay for/promote/fuel your creativity, you have little to no right to criticize. You should be thankful if anyone actually spent their time and money on your work in the first place, rather than try to nitpick your own fanbase. Variety is a part of fandom. And really, why does it matter? Your canon is still law. It always will be.
