Yes, they exist. I'm kind of snobby about tea, but not as much as some. For example, I really don't like to drink tea from tea bags.

By analogy, wouldn't it have to be someone who can list off all the major tea plantations in the world and describe how their flavors are different, and who promotes her/his favorite variety with vigor, but can't pronounce any of them correctly, pairs them up in odd blends, and then yells when someone else mixes a different one? OMG HDU mix Keemun and Darjeeling! Keemun/Pu Erh 4 LIFE!

People like that exist. How often have I seen some self proclaimed tea elistist who went on and on about how Earl Gray is the best tea 5evar!

Also, since the most expensive teas come from China and Japan, a Teeabo would probably be closer to a Weeaboo than a Britaboo.

Anyone claiming to be a "tea snob" who is going on about a flavored tea as the OTT (One True Tea) is Doing It Wrong. I mean, I like teas with bits of hibiscus and raspberries and all in them, but I know it's fruity flavored crap and I don't claim to be a tea elitist.
