I've had both. Let me tell you right now TAKE THE JOB THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. Can't stress that enough. Life is too short.

I'm with you - I see people at jobs they hate, but they can't leave "because it pays too well." You spend way too much of your life at work to be miserable at a job.

Now, that's not to say that OP would necessarily be miserable at a new job - but if the choice is happiness or money, I'll go with the happiness every time (presuming I have enough money to scrape by).
