Yep. Money gives you far more freedom than not having money. It means more options for any problems that you have, and less worry about tiny problems being the thing that blows up your finances irreparably.

Without money, hearing the strange rattle your car makes when you turn corners goes from "Uh oh, I hope that's nothing serious" to "Shit shit shit I can't afford major repairs or a new car!" That twinge in your back molar goes from, "Crap, another cavity?" to "Fucking hell I can't afford to go to a dentist even if I end up losing this tooth".

Loving your job is a wonderful thing, but so is not having to stress out every minute of the day wondering if you'll be able to make rent AND afford food.
