Sort of on topic: I'm really excited to see what Mary's series 4 suitors will be like. I feel like Matthew's death has actually really opened up a lot of possibilities on the show and given it some new life.

Are they going to have any suitors for her, though? Matthew's death means the show can go in welcome new directions, but they have an heir and it's birth was 'honourable" or whatever, so I'd hoped they would drop the exceptionally tired plotline of finding a man for her.

Well, there's at least one (or maybe two?) characters who have been confirmed to be suitors, but it's really unclear how many of these characters are just going to just have single episode appearances and who is going to legitimately be a potential suitor.

Idk. I'm excited because I'd like to see what Mary is like in a relationship with someone other than Matthew.

I haven't read anything about what they're doing for series four, so it's I hadn't thought about what it would be like to see her in relationship with someone else, so thanks for giving me a new perspective ;) It's always great to be excited about what happens next.

yeah it was cheesy and ridiculous but it will be nice to have some new faces on the show. Still pissed about Sybil though.

lol. I thought Sybil was bland and boring so I'm not upset that she's gone.

HOWEVER, THE FANS WHO ARE SO MAD ABOUT IT ARE HILARIOUS TO ME. There's a group of fans that make a lot of Tom/Sybil manips and IDEK. It's really funny. Like some pics leaked last week of Tom and Mary standing next to each other, holding their respective babies, and they shopped Sybil's head on top of Mary's.

Hm. This is pretty true for me too actually. I liked Sybil's relationship with Gwen and her series 1 story. It was only in series 2 that I kinda grew bored with her character.

I liked Sybil, but it's hard for me to be mad at that episode since I think it was the best of Season Three. Like in terms of writing, pacing, foreshadowing, acting, etc.
