Just, too many blond dudes with blocky builds and stubble. Ergo they all looked the same XD I don't even remember any of their names, it was just aussie-dad, asshole son, main dude and dead brother.

Pretty much, yeah. I was able to tell Aussie dad apart simply because his face was the most different.

The only person whose name I remember is Mako.

I thought the main dude was Riley, then Ryan but today I found out it's Raleigh.

I don't know how I feel about this.

I will now because today I went past a Raleigh street :O It's everywhere.

I only thought Riley because of aussie kid going "rhy-ley", but I figured he was mocking it (as more of a dog's name than a person's)

Eh, I know Riley is a bit out of style but I think it's more a person name.

But wait, are Raleigh and Riley pronounced differently?

Yeah, to me they are. The Ra in Raleigh rhymes with owl, so it's like rowl-lee. Riley is like Rye-lee.

I think of Riley as Rye-lee

but Raleigh as RAY-lee-soft hhhh sound at end)...which...I think is what aussie kid did....hahaha uncommon names

You don't remember names like Raleigh Beckett (main dude), Hannibal Chau (Perlman), Hercules Hanson (bulldog daddy), and Stacker Pentecost (Idris Elba)? They were like a comic book mating with a wasted Frank Zappa for values of nonsensical awesome.

Considering I saw the movie a while ago the first person to come to mind is Mako, yeah. With some prompting I could probably remember Raleigh and Hannibal Chau but that's it. Shit, I didn't even learn Stacker Pentecost's name until I got on tumblr. Pacific Rim is not the best movie at hammering in main character names.

(In my head before I learned Stacker Pentecost's name I called him Colonel Mako Daddy. I know that's not his rank and I'll admit fault on that one. I'm really bad at remembering rank. I generally just remember who is serving under who.)

I would have remembered Mako and Hannibal Chau!
That's it. They didn't say the names very often but Mako or Ms Mori was said quite a lot so I could remember that.

Also yeah, as names go they were all pretty long and not memorable D:
