Part of it is just how I express affection but I will also admit to taking a little bit more pride than flattering when people are impressed by my cooking, home solutions, or crafting.
And when it comes to judging? I'm not really ashamed to admit I judge stay at home parents who let their families live off of frozen and boxed foods and don't interact with their kids often. Just yesterday I was at a stay at home dad's house and wanted to read to his son and he said they didn't have any children's books in the house and then shooed his kids into the television room. I judged him so hard I'm surprised steam didn't shoot out of my ears.
