If this breaks your inbox, I apologize.
I’ve been making doodles ever since I was a small kid, but it was during high school that it really took off. My art teacher complemented me whenever she got when she found out I was making this (as again, open it in New Tab to see the full detail).
I have a Deviantart account to store my works from back then (as well as a few other things): http://al28894.deviantart.com/ , but I rarely use it nowadays. Most of the time I upload my doodles to imgur along with my Fandom!Secrets instead of filing it there. I think it was because of the change in fandom to other places that got me dis-interested in dA.
Anyway, back to the main point. In so far, I have framed/put on display three pieces of mine in my room for my own interests (helps me see what I can do). One is a GIANT frame containing a number of doodles, some of which features my crack pairings. The second is a tiny canvas that I painted with another crack pairing of mine that now stands proudly a little ways from the fishtank cabinet in the back (so named because of the Betta fish I have as a pet being placed there). The final piece has… finished but not hung yet due to every contractor or worker being busy for the fasting month here.
This is the first piece that I made. I got the frame from YEARS back when my mother and I went IKEA shopping for out new house and there was this giant picture frame with a stock photo of a Magnolia inside it. Back then, I didn’t realise it was a stock photo so my mother and I bought it on the spot. A few months back, I’ve made a couple of new doodles and I decided to frame them to remind me of what I can do if I have enough time and patience. So out with old and in with the new!
Firstly, remember the comment I made from a few days back about writing a crack pairing based on a discussion here?
Well, before that, I made a drawing of it first.
I first made a simple sketch drawingand left it like that for months before I started to finish it on another piece of paper.
And ever since then…
The pairing got stuck with me.
I also made a few more doodles for the giant frame.
Some of them were made out of boredom and some others for the purposes of filling the empty spaces. By the way, the two figures on the bottom? They are also another crack pairing of mine (which may/may not appear in my fic due to the plot still being constructed along the way. Also, if you haven’t noticed yet, I have a bad habit of shipping characters together even though they come from different canons and have absolutely ZERO interaction whatsoever).
And speaking of those two…
They also got stuck with me.
Now I could type down the backstory behind this, but I’ll just give you my journal post link to save the time. My account also has a few more posts pertaining to the giant-window-drawing up above as well as a few other works, if you want to know more about them.
For the final piece, it’s a bit of a long story. To make it short, I’ll just say that I had a very bad day and cried like a baby throughout the afternoon. A few weeks back I bought a Paint-It Kit that had a couple standing on a field of white dandelions. Feeling a lot miserable, I decided to change it all after I remembered a piece of fanart that I stumbled upon several months ago.
My mother hated the result and wanted me to lock it up far far away, but I left it leaning on the wall opposite my bed. I have to admit, it looks cool. The next day, my mother took me to the neighbourhood shopping complex and bought another Paint-It-Kit (a larger one) for me to calm my mind down. It still leans on the wall today and I am waiting till the end of the fasting month when there are contractors that my family can hire to hung it up (along with a corkboard I also bought and a few other things) on the wall.
And there you have it!
Now… as for the music, I have to say this first before I continue: Most of my songs are
a) Touhou remixes, which are mostly…
b) Instrumental pieces.
But, I think I could give it a shot. Also, if you want to hear the non-Touhou pieces, I think you’ll have to scroll down a lot. However, I would suggest listening to them first before tackling the Touhou remixes; at least they only occupy a single page.

NON-TOUHOU
Okay, I don’t know if listening to foreign artists singing is a thing for you, but for curiosity’s sake I’ll post some Malay songs here. Hope you enjoy them.
Malay
http://youtu.be/VwbasDR0WYg (Selamat Malam (Good Night) - Faizal Tahir. Mix of band-drums and piano/violins)
http://youtu.be/v6a88fD8OfQ (Ikhlas Tapi Jauh (Sincere But Far Away) - Versi Cinta OST. Campfire-like? IMO, it’s relaxing)
http://youtu.be/GOnoz-f43RI (Kantoi (Busted!) – Zee Avi. Vocal with Ukulele. Kinda funny if you can understand it)
http://youtu.be/gRcV61PVf1s (Perpisahan (Seperation) - Anuar Zain. Piano with vocal. The YouTube Vid has English Lyrics. Quite a sad song)
http://youtu.be/vnWV8-lob7U (Bagaikan Sakti (Akin to Magic) – Siti Nurhaliza and M. Nasir. Traditional and Modern. Song was part of OST of a movie about our mythical past (look up ‘Mount Ophir’ or ‘Gunung Ledang’ on Google). I didn’t like the song at first, but it grew on me. Now I listen to it whenever I want to imaginate)
English (regional)
http://youtu.be/iK0NNgzLMe4 (Without You feat. Jaclyn Victor – Jacklyn Victor and SAME SAME. Band. By all accounts, it’s just a bubbly love song but I like to use it to imaginate stuff.)
AND THAT’S ALL, FOLKS!!!
And I hope this whole mountain of words entertains you all.
