I don't get the appeal of that series either. Though I admit I've only seen it up to episode #15 now, watching this show is starting to feel like a chore to me. Its plot moves slowly, I hate how everything has a magical and sudden conclusion like an old Saturday morning cartoon show, and my biggest irk is the way its animated.

Seriously, if it wasn't for the occassional Yoko fanservice in episodes I would've dropped this show long ago.

Is 15 time skip? Because I heard it gets way more better after the time skip but I'm not there yet. D:

15 is the end of the first arc

17 is the start of the timeskip

whether it's "better" is personal opinion.

lots of people say the timeskip was amazing, but others say that 8-15 was the high point of the show and as close to a "perfect show" as you can get.

but again, it's all a matter of preference.

I can understand. I just finally made it to 10 (hey, I go to college ;~;) and the whole "KAMINA ISN'T HERE WOEEEEE" is like D: It's just currently all the characters except Leeron and Nia are getting on my nerves so I can't wait to finish the first arc and get to time skip and see epic space fights.

Actually I think #17 is the time skip. #15 was the end of a story arc, and I've heard #16 is just another recap episode.
