22. Of course Snape was bitter and selfish. Of course he made many mistakes and treated others unfairly. Of course if he were my teacher, I'd probably find him infuriating. However, does that mean I can't I find the character intriguing? I like a character with flaws, I find them much more interesting than Mr. Perfects, and I'm definately not saying he's the greatest character in literary history, because that'd be just ridiculous. I also love House, and he's a complete bastard.

I do agree that Snape and Lily shouldn't end up together, but I also find their relationship interesting. Just because he wasn't exactly a good person, doesn't mean I'm going to force myself to disregard his interesting character points.
