[Picture is the cover image of the book "Rainbow Valley" by L.M. Montgomery. It features six children wearing old-fashioned clothing on a road in a rural area, four of them standing up and two sitting down, all of them looking and smiling at an object one of the sitting down children is manipulating on the ground.]

I had a Rainbow Valley when I was young. My secret is that I did not appreciate what I had and now I want to go back. [dismayed face emoticon]

We often see things different when we're young. But even when we appreciate it, sometimes thing go away because that's life. I had my own band of misfits in my last high school, my "X-Men" - but the thing is people grow up, move away, getting into relationship and that special moment in time can never be regained. But your valley is still part of you, and no-one can take that away.
