Secret 1

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is the poster of the movie "Time After Time". It features the skyline of a city and a giant hand floating in the sky holding a pocket watch, with a man in a dark suit jumping out of the clock.]

This is still the best of the genre that I have EVER SEEN.

Secret 2

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is various currently popular characters from fiction (like Will Graham from the TV show "Hannibal") wearing a crown of flowers on their heads. They're all light skinned men with short dark hair.]

I don't know where this meme came from, but I am so sick of seeing fanart and manipulated images of people in flower crowns. I don't think it is appropriative or anything, I am just sick of seeing them.

Secret 3

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is the cover image of the book "Rainbow Valley" by L.M. Montgomery. It features six children wearing old-fashioned clothing on a road in a rural area, four of them standing up and two sitting down, all of them looking and smiling at an object one of the sitting down children is manipulating on the ground.]

I had a Rainbow Valley when I was young. My secret is that I did not appreciate what I had and now I want to go back. [dismayed face emoticon]

Secret 4

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is a cascading of columns of green Japanese writing on a black background, reminiscent of the opening and climatic scene of the movie The Matrix.]

The micro-fandom for this new show hates the one character I would give anything to see more of. (Picture is vaguely related.)

Secret 5

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is one of the members of the musical group "Avenged Sevenfold" singing onstage. He is holding a microphone and is wearing a black sleeveless shirt and blue-lensed eyeglasses. He has buzzed dark hair and pale skin and tattoos all over his arms.]

I honestly don't like the song Natural Born Killer.

Secret 6

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter films. She has pale skin and wavy medium-long light brown hair. She is wearing a school uniform of a white shirt, a red and gold tie and a dark blue sweater. She is pointing a wooden wand at the camera and smiling confidently.]

I cringe when people hold her up as the ultimate role model. She's basically the teenage Umbridge. And not all girls aspire to be condescending, self-serving, violently abusive hypocrites firmly convinced of their rightness and their own superiority solely because they read more than those around them. To me the most unforgivable thing Bellatrix ever did was not killing her in Deathly Hallows when she had the chance.

Secret because: Hermione's fans are many and rabid.

Secret 7

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is four screen-captures of the actor Jason Segel playing a piano and singing from the film "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". He is a man with lightly tanned skin and short brown hair wearing a gray-green T-shirt.]

When I feel depressed, sometimes I play the "Peter you suck" song really loud on repeat because it's the only music that makes me feel better.

Secret 8

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is internet reviewer The Cinema Snob and his friends standing somewhere dark. One of his friends, Jake, is holding a burning ticket to the movie "The Internship" while another friend, David, leans back away from the flame. Both of them have light skin and short dark hair and are wearing T-shirts. David is wearing eyeglasses. Brad, The Cinema Snob, is standing behind David, with his head barely peaking out.]

I want to enjoy Brad's midnight screening videos but I find his friends to be such repugnant, offensive, racist assholes, I just can't sit through them. It also makes me sad that Brad defends their bullshit. I always thought he'd be a decent guy.

They're sitting in a car in the movie theatre parking lot.

Oh, thanks!

Secret 9

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is two hands meeting palms forward on opposite sides of a glass panel. The hands belong to Kirk and Spock from one of the later scenes from the movie "Star Trek: Into Darkness".]

Wrath of Khan was a brilliant film and the scene where Spock dies was beautifully executed, with emotional impact stemming from years of on-screen chemistry. In contrast, the scene in Into Darkness where Kirk "dies" felt cheap, mining the nostalgia evoked by similarities to Wrath of Khan without backing it up with enough actual New Star Trek narrative or chemistry to invoke any genuine emotion.

The secret: ...That scene is my favorite part of the New Star Trek movies. I adore it. I really shouldn't, but I love it to bits.

Secret 10

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is Stella Gibson from the TV show "The Fall". She is a woman with light skin and long blonde hair pulled up in a ponytail. She is wearing a black swimsuit and looking at a plastic dolphin.]

Stella Gibson is my swim inspiration.

Not Secret 1

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is a man wearing a dark suit and hat and leaning on a cane, with a woman wearing a suit and smiling sitting on the background. It might be a picture from the TV show The Bletchley Circle and the woman might be Anna Maxwell Martin.]

TBC fandom hates the only canon couple. "Ew the icky het(erosexuality)!!!!!" Why am I not surprised? *sigh*

Spam Pictures

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-07-25 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
The spam pictures are continuing the Illuminati/musicians trend by adding Freemasonry and Guardian Angels to the mix.
