I think that's more symptomatic of how fucked-up the wizarding world's culture is in general than anything specific to Hermione. Aren't love potions regarded as "one of those stupid things teenagers to" rather than "drugging and raping someone"? To say nothing of the liberal use wizards make of memory-erasing charms, especially against Muggles. There's a LOT of shit in those books that's deeply disturbing if you stop and think about it for more than three seconds, so I kind of regard Hermione's behavior within that context.

AYRT. I actually agree with this, which is why I said when I was older I found a lot of things infinitely more creepy than simply brushing it off when I was a kid. It's kind of why I don't really find a lot of things as romantic or amazing in Harry Potter anymore. And why some of the only couples I can tolerate are Molly/Arthur and Bill/Fleur.
