Actually, if you look at what happened once she married John, he was the controlling, manipulative, and abusive one. [Hell, even admitted in an interview that he hit women.]

He was no picnic, himself. But neither was she. She's the reason why her son and stepson are estranged from each other. Even to this day, she's trying to make a buck off Lennon's corpse while giving nothing to his son, Julian. (She stole almost his entire inheritance.)

Lennon was a louse of a man who people like to view through rose colored glasses because he was a pop star who knew how to work the media. (Like the naked interview from bed. I admit, that was genius.) And Yoko Ono was his perfect match because their personalities were almost identical.

I do feel sorry for their kids. They had awful awful Mommy Dearest/Daddy Dearest parents.

Oh my God, I love you! It's so nice to find someone who hasn't swallowed the "Lennon Messiah" bullshit...

I never said that she was. Simply pointing out that Lennon isn't the poor, innocent, and taken advantage of singer people try to portray him as.

I will apologize for assuming you were going the route most people seem to when it comes to her [SHE WAS HORRIBLE! SHE BROKE THE BEATLES UP! etc].
