I am going through the same thing this summer. every other day some new bullshit arrives on the scene and I just want to quit. plus new management which is sucky in general, but also upsetting because I liked the old manager and the way she was forced out of her job is particularly unpleasant.

I hope you at least have a couple of fun people to keep you sane (I do but they work night shift and I'm mornings so I only get to see them for an hour or so at a time). retail is a black hole. if you ever need someone to tell horror stories to I am always down!

Tell me about it. Just when I thought I had it figured out, there's always something else. God I wish I could quit but it's not like I can right now.

And that's another thing, all the people I bonded with at work either found other jobs or are moving away. It's making me anxious because I feel like the rest of our team alienates the new folks. Us new people stuck together but now I'm gonna be all alone. :(

how new are you? within my first few weeks two of my three friends at the time left the store and I thought I was never going to make it. now I've been there maybe a month and a week and people who were total bitches to me before have really warmed up to me. maybe the same will happen for you? sorry about your friends. ):

I've been there two months. I''m mostly at the register where I'm alone with no chance to talk to my coworkers. Everyone else is on the floor stocking the aisles or helping out customers while I'm stuck in one spot. It sucks lol.
