Not sure if it's technically retail, but it does involve assisting the general public in buying stuff...

No ma'am, when we state that the minimum age for our event is *teen, that does not mean you can bring your newborn.

No sir, I cannot magically pull a couple of extra tickets out of my ass if you send me one half of an (incidentally insultingly small, not that that changes anything) bill as incentive. Nor am I inclined to give you my home address to mail it.

Yes ma'am, when we repeatedly state on our website and throughout the purchasing process that we have a no refund policy, that does indeed mean that we do not give refunds.

I'm very sorry sir, you probably should have read the terms of the *insert name of third-party program* offer and made sure you understood what you were buying before you did so, because I cannot break the rules to accommodate you and I will get in trouble if I keep forwarding the same un-fulfillable requests to my supervisor.

Sorry to bother you again boss, I know you're busy, but someone else has failed to understand the terms of the offer that weren't explained very clearly, and they are getting upset with me for not being able to give them what they want. Oh, now you're upset with me too. Sorry...
