It's good to see the people are cooling off on Miley.

Back just a few years ago it might have been just me but it seemed like hate for her was everywhere. It think it was during the time that Hannah Montana was running but really that happens with every Disney star. They get popular , Disney starts overpushing merch and slapping their face on everything, people start bashing them like crazy, they grow out of Disney and do something to prove their not little kiddies anymore or generally act like teenagers, people freak out and say they're going wild and the basher continue, and then the next girl gets popular and then it's " (old star) isn't as bad as "new star").

I swear when Miley was doing Hannah Montana it was like every third person was hating on her and made gross comments about incest (because southern) and wishing her dead. (I swear I saw one person say they wished her tour bus would crash with a "lol" when she was SIXTEEN. People calling her the antichrist and other shit.

I was afraid to tell people I liked her songs for the worry I would get yelled at.

Oh no argument from me. My 7yo cousin has a big crush on her and as far as young girls for my cousin to look up to, I'm glad it's her.

Not trying to excuse the gross comments, but the incest thing didn't just come from her being southern. A few years ago she did a picture with her dad that's kinda... ehhhhh, well, judge for yourself:

I distinctly remember the comment which was about her sleeping with her brother. I don't think it had anything to do with that. It was a bunch of 15 year old smart asses on a sporking site who were mocking what was the in thing to mock at the time which was Hannah Montana

The stuff about her and her dad was ALL OVER the place, especially after that picture came out. I used to read a lot of horrible celebrity gossip sites so believe me, I know. I'm not saying you're wrong about the gross comment you saw, but I'm just pointing out that I'm not wrong either.

I dunno, that picture is a BIT odd, but nothing startling. I think the awkward thing is how her dad barely looks older than her, not so much the positioning.

Her right elbow is a bit... oddly... placed, but really that could have been directed by the photographer for all we know. Other than that it doesn't look that bad.

Holy hell, that photo is badly shopped. You can even see the blurry lines that indicate that someone took away her belly and hips. That's what's really gross here.

And weren't all Disney stars required to wear purity rings? The Jonas Brothers had to wear them, too.
