Re: Howse Everybody's Sunday?
You see, my grandma's home has/is basically one GIANT living room with an adjoining kitchen and dining area, a maid's room, several small bedrooms and a few toilets. This is compounded with the fact that my grandma had SEVEN children and all of them (save for mine) have an average of MORE THAN FIVE KIDS. Did I mention that some of them already have great-grandchildren?
So, ever since I was a baby, I've always slept on the floor on a mattress along with everyone else. It's only a few years back that I can actually use the small bedrooms. Otherwise, my sisters, cousins and relatives would turn the entire living room floor into some sort of pillow fort full of mattresess and bedsheets to make it comfier.
Last weekend was one of our small family reunions (unfortunatety some of them weren't able to come) and my dad decided on retrofitting the wooden floors a few weeks back. They were so comfy... we could sleep on them without using the mattresess!!
Unfortunately the builders left the old wooden floors underneath the new ones and it wasn't long before the warping started. Still though, it was fun!
Re: Howse Everybody's Sunday?
Glad you guys all had a good time together! Family reunions can be really awesome.
