Hmm, this kind of made me realize why the way he writes about Amanda seems unremarkable to me and I'm always surprised by how much hate people have for it. I've been reading his blog for the past 9 years, so I am completely used to his style and how much 'oversharing' he does-- and I love it. I almost feel like I know him (I obviously know I don't though!) And I've been following Amanda for the past 7 years, before they even got together. So of course I'm cool with how they are... I'm pretty used to it from both sides. Other people who aren't fans of Amanda or who've gotten into Neil more recently wouldn't have that same background.
